Welcome to curated chaos.

Indie designer life is quite multi-faceted: busy hands + a busy mind = infinite stimulation and a story to share. I've long wanted to grant more insight into my whirlwind world. Although I exist on many platforms, I find that certain social media sites are better outfitted for specific content. Instagram is great for imagery and finished creations. Facebook is best for mixed media posts and organizing ideas. Twitter is appreciated for its capacity to share my spur-of-the-moment musings. And then there's my regular brand website, which will always be a digital design portfolio.

But I needed a dumping ground for "the rest." Because there's a lot more.

I'm often asked about other bits: behind-the-scenes, inspo, local art events, etc. etc. infinitely.

So this will be for that stuff.

A notion can be defined as follows:

1. a conception of or belief about something.

2. an impulse or desire, especially one of a whimsical kind.

3. items used in sewing, such as buttons, pins, and hooks.

It is the perfect label to encapsulate the energy for this space. A little sewing, a little whimsy... and a lot of what sparks me.

My hope is that you find something within it that inspires you as well.
